Program itinerary

Day 1 : Tangier – Asilah:

Pick your arrival in Tangier , and part of the morning free to explore the city. Known as “the door of Africa”, one of the most vibrant, mysterious and interesant cities of Morocco. (Visit to Cafe Hafa). We headed to Asilah, performing before a visit to the Caves of Heracules. According to legend, this is where the mythical figure of Hercules rested after making his 12 tasks. The entrance to the cave is oriented towards the Atlantic and are flooded during high tides. The views inside offers are an experience. Arrival in Asilah, small coastal town, definitely one of the most beautiful in northern Morocco, with its small medina characterized by blue houses and look decorated with colorful drawings. Dinner and Accommodation in Hotel.

Day 2 : Asilah – Rabat:

After breakfast we left in the morning Rabat direction. Arrival in Rabat: known as the City of Gardens. It is the administrative capital of Morocco. It is both a modern and traditional city , a dynamic mix of ancient and modern culture. Surrounded by colorful foothills and mountains. The city itself is elegant with harmonious gardens, luxury shops, its shops and flowers. Free time to explore the city . Hotel accommodation.

Day 3 : Rabat – Casablanca:

We continue our journey along the Atlantic, to Casablanca, the economic capital of the country . Dispondreis all day to explore the great city of Morocco, and the famous Hassan II mosque, one of the tallest buildings in the world and of the few that allows non musulmantes visit to tourists. Hotel accommodation.

Day 4 : Casablanca – Essaouira:

We continue bordering the Atlantic, enjoying a beautiful coastal landscape to the city of Essaouira in hotel and free time to explore the city: Heritage, maintains the charm and authenticity of a land lost in time. This is where the Mediterranean ends: the last walled for t on the Atlantic shores. Essaouira bay washed by the waves of Mogador islands, is a paradise for sports fans wind. Hotel accommodation.

Day 5 : Essaouira – Marrakech:

Free time to continue describing the many corners that make up the city: One of the four imperial cities of Morocco. Famous for having many monuments recognized as a World Heritage Site and its famous Jemaa el Fna square. You will be able to go their different and characteristic neighborhoods, modern city Gueliz, Hivernage, Palmeraie, Mellah (the Jewish Quarter) … or carried away through the winding streets of the Medina, to Jmaa el Fna Square, scene of endless outdoor activities: jugglers, musicians, fakirs, snake charmers, jugglers … to awaken all your senses, with its multiple sounds, aromas, flavors and colors that characterize it. Day 7 : Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Dades Gorge:

Morning departure from Marrakech to Dades Gorges. On our way we will cross the High Atlas Mountains and climb the Tizi n’Tichka (2260m altitude). We visit two of the best known and best preserved Kasbahs. The first one, the Kasbah of Telouet, inside which hides Glaoui Palace. There we will find walls with silk tapestries, carved cedar ceilings and rooms with well decoration. Then leave the road to follow along a track between ravines, until you reach the next stop, the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (World Heritage Site by UNESCO since 1987) in which are recorded films as well known as “Gladiator” “the Mummy”, “the Kingdom of Heaven ” and the series “Game of Thrones” (turned into Yunkai and Pentos). We continue the journey through the Valley of Roses to the Dades gorges, where the “Route of a Thousand Kasbahs” begins. Dades Valley accommodation and dinner at the hotel.

Day 8 : Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Merzouga:

Breakfast at the hotel. We headed to the Todra Gorge, where you can take a pleasant walk between its imposing canyon walls more than 200 meters, until the departure to the desert through the palm grove of Tafilalet. Arrival at the hotel on foot dunes, where you can walk the fine sand of the Erg Chebbi, relax and enjoy this breathtaking scenery . At night, you will savor a delicious Moroccan dish. Day 9 : Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga:

After a hearty Moroccan breakfast, we will climb the 4×4 to begin our return around the dunes Erg Chebbi, region populated desert sand: Among the many stops that await you, discover how and where nomadic families in the area live, wild oasis in the middle of nowhere, spectacular scenery and small desert villages, palm groves … Inevitable stop on our way through the town of Khamelia of people originating from Mali, that will make us enjoy a nice concert of Gnawa music, while savor a delicious tea. Around the hotel, waiting for us to leave our dromedaries on a route hour and a half, wading through sand dunes to the heart of the desert to watch the beautiful sunset. Wrapped by the Great Dune, and enjoying the music of drums, dinner and Moroccan tea, you can see the immense sky of stars and sleep in nomadic tents.

Day 10 : Merzouga – Rissani – Ziz Valley – Midelt:

We wake up early in the morning to see another great show between the dunes of the Moroccan Sahara: the spectacular sunrise. Again you will board your dromedaries for another route back to the hotel. Breakfast and shower , and continued on our way to Rissani. Breakfast and depart to the city of Meknes, where we will visit the famous Roman ruins of Volubilis. Then continue our journey to Fez and spend the rest of the day to explore the city . Accommodation in Riad.

Full day free to explore Fez: Another of the four imperial cities. Morocco is considered as the religious and cultural center of the country. Its university, famous for the study of Arabic and Islam, is a crossing point of many Moroccan students. You have time to stroll and meet their various districts, the new area or Fès el-Jdid, where you will find the Mellah (the Jewish Quarter), the Ville Nouvelle (Villa Nueva) French area in the northwest of the city and of course, Fez el -bali, the old town, inside the walls. You will be able to stroll through its streets and feel like you transported past worlds where potters, smiths, artisans and donkeys laden with goods from diverse backgrounds coexist with tourists transiting its labyrinthine alleys.
