Day 1 : Marrakech – Ourika Valley – Marrakech:

We’ll meet you in a destination of your choice in Marrakech before embarking on the hour-long drive to the Ourika Valley . This is an excellent escape from the summer heat of the city. The area is popular with both local and international artists and offers gentle hiking. On Mondays, people from all over gather for the largest souk in the valley . There is the OUED OURIKA (Ourika River) which is generally calm in the summer but can get quite treacherous in the winter when the area is subject to flooding. The local red houses are surrounded by a relatively lush landscape. You might explore the village of SETTI FATMA, if you’re interested in seeing life in a quiet Berber town. Depending on the time of year , you may also be able to access the seven medium-sized waterfalls above the village, if you’re willing to do a short hike and scramble. At the bottom of the waterfalls, you’ll find a few quaint cafes that offer excellent tagines for lunch. In the evening, we’ll return you to your riyad in Marrakech.

Ourika :

The OURIKA VALLEY : is only 30 kilometers from Marrakech. It is a destination that will please tourists who want to escape, for a day, the hustle and buzz of the ocher city . Indeed, unlike its neighbor who succumbed to mass tourism, the Ourika Valley has remained well preserved and has remained authentic. It allows the visitor to discover a Moroccan way of life that he will have difficulty finding elsewhere. But the valley of the Ourika does not have its authenticity to attract and charm the visitors, it shelters many curiosities which are well worth the detour.
